SA Back on Form at Continental Games with a handful of medals
South Africa jumped back into the picture today with a bunch of medals in the African Continental Commonwealth Games, running concurrently with the FAA Championships. After being awarded his gold medal, Shawn Anderson (CMO) was "on a high" and highly motivated to face the world champions at the para-archery world ranking tournament at Stokes Mandeville later in the year. In the Continental Commonwealth Championships, Petrus Marx (CM) was warded the gold medal, Shaun Anderson (CMO) gold, Graeme Lindner (RM) Gold, William Frank (RM) silver and Karen Hultzer (RW) silver. The medals were presented by the World Archery Secretary General, Mr Tom Dielen. All our archers are now highly motivated to take on the 17 African countries for a place in the Olympics tomorrow. The gallery now has an overview of the tournament.
