National Coaches Chairman

The role of the National Coaches Chairman (NCC), amongst others, is to develop and facilitate the implementation of a National Coaching Program from beginner and a novice archer to the advanced and gold squad archer, through provincial coaches.

 

The NCC is required to develop and implement standards for coaches including the management of a coaches accreditation system. The role includes the monitoring of standards of coaching and coaching programs for the development and growth of the sport.

 

The National Coaches chairman is Malcolm Todd, assisted by Grant Gammon. Malcolm is an accomplished archer, being the only recurve male to have shot a 1300 in Africa, while Grant is a recognised compound coach, having represented South Africa at international tournaments.
