The Zoo Lake Club is making good use of the equipment available from the National Coach. Shown here is Alex Fairbrass has all the kit on. he has been shooting for arround 2 years now and is a dedicated club member.
He is one of our intermediate archers who is also helping out with beginner coaching, Like Dean Machendry they greatly assist us with this task as all the other coaches are extreemly busy. We have an advanced coach in attendance to assist the beginner coach and intermediate archers thet may require assistance.
We have a number of country members who belong to the club in order to get advanced coaching from Mike Botha and Noel Robinson, cost of R 600.p/a for this. This is the way it works best for us as we have arround 6 new and 8 current archers each Saturday. We are starting a monthly club SANIFAA indoor round on the 14 the June to cater for this need at the club. This has not happened for a while so we expect it to be great fun for all. We are using this round as to the single target size and distances , plus the ease of scoring .
